Ogmore Valley Silver Brass Band would like to say a huge thank you to the ladies at Ogmore Valley Crafters for their generous donation to the band of £300, accepted by our Treasurer Jerry Cook last night. Throughout the year, Doreen, Joan, Pat, Alva, Lynne, Shirley, Ann, Carol, Verona and Gina have been raising funds and have given 5 valley organisations; ourselves, Valley Ravens, Tang-So-Do, RSD Cheerleading and Wyndham Boys & Girl club, a donation of £300 each. Voluntary Organisations and Charities like ourselves can only survive through fundraising, donations and sponsorship, so we are extremely grateful for this contribution.
